minimum $25 donation to support The Lace Museum
Elizabeth Kurella, author and internationally known lace expert will do a short lecture on identifying and valuing vintage lace. Elizabeth will also be launching her newest book, "Youghal Needle Lace for Connoisseurs and Lacemakers" published by The Lace Merchant, at this evening event.
After the lecture she will do a “road-show-style” chat with you about your special lace and linens. Bring any old lace you have that you have questions about, or pieces that you just want to show off! Find out if your pieces belong in a bank vault, a museum or in the rag-bag! Find out whether you should use it, lose it, donate it to The Lace Museum, or sell it on ebay.
Elizabeth will identify it for you, provide an idea of its value, and have suggestions for what to do with it.
Refreshments will be served.

We would be grateful to every lace maker who would make a Christmas ornament in any lace type to sell in our gift shop. Our visitors have requested lace snowflakes. Can someone please make us some? All of our museum expenses are paid with the generous donations from our friends and income from our gift shop and workshops.
