Calling all Lacemakers - ornaments and lace snowflakes needed!We would be grateful to every lacemaker who would make a christmas ornament in any lace type to sell in our giftshop. Our visitors have requested lace snowflakes. Can someone please make us some? All of our museum expenses are paid with the generous donations from our friends and income from our giftshop and workshops.__________________________________
June 12 - early Nov. - Needle lace display - "Threads Through Time" June 12-20 - San Mateo Couty Fair - volunteers needed June 26-27 - Greek Finger Lace Workshop taught by Marji Suhm July 3 - The museum will be open normal hours this week July 17- 19 - Lia Baumeister will teach Chantilly & Schneeberger - watch for workshop details July 26 - Aug 3 -The museum will be closed as most volunteers will be attending the IOLI convention in Portland. August 7(new date) - Caring for your Textile Treasures with Donna LaVallee, MS, 12:30 - 5pm October 9 - 10 - 11 - Columbus Day weekend: Milanese with Louise Colgan, sponsored by The Lace Museum __________________________________ We are looking for interested people to form a lace study group.
