Tat Up a Winter Wonderland

Instructor: Natalie Rogers

Course Description: It’s Christmas in July! Stir up warm feelings for the holidays by tatting up a cute collection of festive jewelry. Start off with sparkling Christmas trees dotted with shining bead ornaments topped with the perfect little star. Next, reflect upon one of the season’s beloved stories, the Nutcracker, by replicating a delicate ballerina ready to perform “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” her arms held up high as she balances on her pointed toe. Finally, for all of us with a sweet tooth, we have a twisted lace pattern to make a delectable candy cane. Discover how to make them yourself as you learn and practice the following techniques: Split Rings, Treble Tatting Stitch, Vapour Stitch, Two-Color Ring, and Spiral Twist!
