Workshop and Class Policies

Participation

Students must have teacher approved tools and materials for each workshop. Some teachers offer a kit or supplies directly to students. Some teachers may recommend a kit or supplies through The Lace Museum. If you have your own supplies or would like to purchase them elsewhere, you will need to check with the teacher to make sure you are fully prepared.

Recordings

Some, but not all, workshops may be recorded by The Lace Museum and made available only to students in that workshop. Creation of a recording is subject to approval by all participants and will be deleted a few weeks after each session.

Students may view the recording but may not download it to their own devices for any purpose. Students may not record any workshop session on their own device for any reason. Violators of this policy may be restricted from participating in future Lace Museum Workshops and Classes.

Cancellation and Refunds

Payment for class is due at the time of registration to hold your place. If the workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment, a full refund will be given.

If you wish to cancel, your request must be submitted in writing either in person, through the U.S. mail, or in an email addressed to lacemuseum@gmail.com.

After receiving your written request for cancellation, The Lace Museum will offer a full refund should another paid student come forward either through a wait list or regular registration. A 50% refund will be given if there are more than six students in a class, but your space cannot be filled. Refunds will be made by check from The Lace Museum.
