  • New Zealand (NZDT): 3pm Saturday – 9pm Sunday

Duration: Classes start on the hour, last 2¾ hours, then there is a 15-minute break before the next class. There will also be a 10-minute break in the middle of each class.

Single Registration: Register once for the entire marathon and attend as many live as you wish. Then watch the rest by recording.

Supply List: You will receive an email with a link to download a PDF supply list for all the classes.

Patterns: You will receive a later email with a link to download a PDF with instructions and patterns for all the classes. Please respect the instructors’ copyright and do not share the PDFs.

Zoom: We will use Zoom webinar software, so you will need to download the basic Zoom software. You will receive an email with Zoom links for all ten classes a few days before the marathon.

Official Recording: Classes will be recorded and the recordings will be available within 48 hours of the end of the marathon.  You will be able to watch the recording via the email address you supply at registration. Gmail addresses will definitely work, and others may also work. We will help you. Recordings will be available through January 31, 2028.

You may not record the classes yourself or download the official recordings under any circumstances.

Instruction Format: If you have taken past Lace Museum virtual classes, this will be different. There will be dozens of students and the instructor will mostly be demonstrating. Students are encouraged to work along, but you won’t be showing your pillow/work or receiving as much individual help as in a regular class. You will be able to type questions into the Zoom Chat so that the moderator can ask some questions for you.
